Work Environment

This full-time position is conducted on-site, ensuring therapists can work closely and effectively with patients in their home environments. Our schedules are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance while allowing you ample opportunity to engage with clients in a meaningful way. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical abilities, identifying areas for improvement and creating tailored treatment plans that restore function and alleviate pain.
• Implement and monitor personalized therapy programs utilizing specialized techniques and tools to assist clients in meeting their rehabilitation goals.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals, including nurses and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Educate clients and their families on injury prevention, exercises, and mobility strategies, promoting self-managed wellness.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of treatment sessions and patient progress, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will primarily consist of seniors and adults requiring rehabilitation due to various conditions, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. The focus is on enhancing their independence and quality of life through effective therapy interventions. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting their transition towards functional autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Virginia PT license in good standing.
• At least two years of experience in similar roles, ideally in geriatric or home care environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills paired with a compassionate and patient-centered approach while working with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in geriatric care, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings would be advantageous.
