Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history and performing specific physical assessments tailored to their individual needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on evaluation findings while actively involving patients and their families in setting goals for recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment protocols effectively to address patients' rehabilitation needs, adapting to changes in condition as necessary.
• Maintain ongoing communication with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and adjust treatment plans in response to patient progress and needs.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all records reflect the patient's journey, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Manage time efficiently, meeting productivity standards while ensuring high-quality patient interactions and outcomes.
• Engage in departmental initiatives to enhance service delivery, contributing to marketing strategies that promote access to care within the community.
• Participate in continual learning, taking on the role of a clinical instructor as needed, promoting the development of future physical therapists.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or experiencing mobility challenges. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy License in the State of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in a home care or outpatient setting preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
