Elite Physical Therapy & Stability Clinic is searching for a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our caring and dynamic team. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional outpatient care to our patients while contributing to their rehabilitation journey in the comfort of their own homes in the Centreville, Virginia area.

Work Environment

This is a full-time onsite position that involves direct patient care in a home care setting. As a Greater Centreville area therapy provider, your role transcends traditional physical therapy; you will meet patients where they are most comfortable and deliver personalized interventions tailored to their needs and progress. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, ensuring a consistent routine for our team and our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand state practice acts and legal regulations governing physical therapy practice in Virginia to ensure compliance.
• Assess and evaluate patient conditions, develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnoses and patient needs to address functional limitations and disabilities.
• Conduct thorough evaluations that include comprehensive history assessments, specific physical examinations, and informed planning to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols as outlined in the assessment, maintaining proficiency amidst the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Consult proactively with physicians and other healthcare professionals as necessary, articulating changes in patients' conditions that warrant adjustments to treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, including progress notes and discharge summaries, to ensure a transparent and comprehensive care record.
• Engage in ongoing education and training activities, remaining compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations relevant to physical therapy practice.
• Participate in team meetings focused on identifying and removing barriers to patient access, as well as understanding and improving performance metrics across the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients in need of outpatient orthopedic therapy with a range of issues such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will utilize evidence-based practices and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each individual, thereby enhancing overall patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Must hold a valid state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Virginia Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of outpatient orthopedic experience, demonstrating clinical expertise and patient-focused care.
• Current CPR certification is required to ensure proficiency in providing emergency life support as necessary.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home health care or community-based rehabilitation settings is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will enhance paperwork efficiency and patient documentation accuracy.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, supplemented by a robust benefits package. We provide:
