Spindletop Physical Therapy Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Fairfax, Virginia. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and develop personalized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, adhering to best practices in physical therapy.
• Implement various therapeutic exercises and modalities tailored to address individual patient needs, facilitating recovery from orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related injuries.
• Provide exceptional customer service, fostering positive interactions with patients to enhance their experience and recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care that maximizes patient outcomes, addressing both immediate and long-term rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver therapy services in both clinic and home settings, employing effective techniques that align with the physician's plan of care.
• Educate and train patients along with their caregivers, empowering them with the knowledge to continue their recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor and report on patient progress while achieving minimum utilization goals and contributing to the clinic's overall performance metrics.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical and therapeutic practices.
• Possession of a valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association, equipped to handle emergencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey treatment plans and progress to patients and families.
• Proficient in word processing and computer skills for documentation and patient management.
• A deep commitment to building strong relationships with patients, driving them to exceed their rehabilitative goals.
• A personable and empathetic nature, essential for connecting positively with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy is preferred, showcasing a track record of working effectively with a variety of patient populations. Preference will be given to candidates with specialized training or certification in areas such as sports medicine, neurology, or pediatrics, elevating the level of care provided to our clients.

Compensation and Benefits
