Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to understand individual needs and establish appropriate treatment plans in accordance with physician referrals.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, employing a variety of methods such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to promote recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols based on their response, ensuring alignment with their rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver advanced customer service by fostering a positive patient experience and actively listening to their concerns and feedback.
• Consult with patients and their caregivers to educate them about treatment plans, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications that support recovery.
• Work in conjunction with the wider healthcare team to discuss patient progress and integrate interdisciplinary approaches to care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to professional standards and clinic policies.
• Achieve minimum utilization benchmarks while consistently striving to meet departmental business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will involve treating a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related ailments. Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills that facilitate efficient patient interactions as well as collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in using word processing tools and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Commitment to building strong relationships with patients to exceed their functional goals and enhance engagement in their healing process.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is required for this position, especially in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits
