The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Arlington, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing personalized rehabilitation treatment plans. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Directing physical therapy treatment to alleviate pain, improve muscle function, and prevent disability in clients.
• Assessing patients' functional abilities systematically through robust diagnostic and prognostic evaluations.
• Collaborating with Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to individualized therapy protocols.
• Evaluating the home environment and making recommendations that enhance client independence.
• Administering therapeutic modalities including manual exercises, massage, and the application of physical agents.
• Setting up and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices, recommending modifications as necessary.
• Documenting clinical records comprehensively including evaluations, care plans, and discharge notes.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and adjust comprehensive care strategies for your clients.
• Providing education and support to clients and their families regarding the use and care of physical therapy devices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or undergoing rehabilitation after injuries. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients in a compassionate environment, ensuring they receive tailored care that promotes their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence, integrity, and a patient-centered approach.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance are necessary for home visits, if required.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
