Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time at Active Living Rehabilitation Center

Position Overview

Active Living Orthopedic Facility is seeking a passionate and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is integral to our mission of helping patients regain their mobility and enhance their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Center offers a collaborative and supportive environment in which your contributions will be valued. You will be working alongside a dedicated team of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The onsite structure of our facility enables close-knit teamwork and real-time patient assessments, leading to effective treatment interventions and improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their goals and rehabilitation needs, customizing treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload with an average of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and individualized care.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques to promote recovery and mobility in patients experiencing orthopedic issues.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the specific needs of each patient, enhancing their overall health.
• Develop cost-effective interventions that alleviate the need for medication and explore non-surgical alternatives.
• Thoroughly document each patient's progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring consistent communication within the healthcare team.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery journey to optimize their functional abilities and foster independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and specialists, to provide holistic care and address any additional patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters primarily to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist in our center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, ranging from young athletes to older adults, each requiring specialized, compassionate care tailored to their specific rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (or higher), with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with an impeccable professional record.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• High competency in developing hands-on treatment plans and performing assessments related to orthopedic dysfunction.
• Experience in a collaborative environment with strong communication skills to engage with both patients and healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
