This role will involve delivering onsite rehabilitation services within a supportive and collaborative rehabilitation center environment. Work Environment

This full-time position is based at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Centreville, Virginia, where we prioritize collaborative and integrated patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment focused on alleviating pain, preventing disability, and enhancing functional mobility while adhering closely to each client's individualized care plan.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring that they effectively implement prescribed treatment methodologies.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical abilities through various tests to assess their levels of function and tailor rehabilitation strategies accordingly.
• Perform in-home assessments to assess environmental factors affecting rehabilitation, providing recommendations aimed at promoting client independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and physical agents, as well as instruct clients in both manual and non-manual activities to enhance their recovery.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices; recommend modifications, as appropriate, in collaboration with physicians.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plan updates, share insights, and celebrate client progress.
• Prepare and maintain detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with company policy.
• Engage with clients and their families to educate them about therapy processes, tools, and overall plan-of-care while promoting adherence to rehabilitation regimens.
• Contribute to the overall operational excellence of the rehabilitation center by completing assigned duties and collaborating on special projects as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on a diverse patient population experiencing orthopedic issues, including post-operative rehabilitation, injury recovery, and chronic pain management. Our therapists are dedicated to creating customized treatment strategies that address the unique needs of each client in their journey toward improved health and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid physical therapy licensure in the state of Virginia.
• Certification in CPR with current renewals.
• A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year's experience as a physical therapist, preferably in orthopedic and/or home care settings.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in evaluating and adjusting treatment plans based on client progress and responses.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
