Trailbound Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team at our Rehabilitation Facility in Manassas, Virginia. Work Environment

Located in Manassas, Virginia, our onsite rehabilitation facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources designed to support both clinicians and patients. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, assessing their medical history and performing necessary physical assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.

• Implement customized treatment protocols based on individual patient needs and continuously evaluate their progress, adjusting care plans as necessary in collaboration with other healthcare providers.

• Document all patient interactions and outcomes meticulously to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and to provide clear communication regarding each patient's treatment trajectory, including writing legible daily encounter notes and progress summaries.

• Participate in multidimensional discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for patients leaving therapy, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed for continued recovery.

• Engage in ongoing training and maintain compliance with state, local, and federal regulations governing physical therapy practices.

• Foster open communication with co-workers, healthcare providers, patients and their families, which is vital for holistic patient care and relationship building.

• Attend facility meetings as designated by management to align with administrative expectations and enhance team collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Trailbound Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, you will work primarily with individuals facing orthopedic challenges, including those recovering from surgery, trauma, or chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will guide a diverse patient demographic, ensuring each individual receives tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at maximizing their functional capabilities and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required, with a preference for those holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).

• A valid physical therapy license in the State of Virginia is mandatory.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is essential.

• 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is required, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation being advantageous.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, we highly encourage applicants with experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation or similar settings to apply. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and a proven track record of developing and executing effective treatment plans will be considered valuable assets.
