Work Environment

Our typical working hours are Monday to Friday from either 7 am - 3 pm or 8 am - 4 pm, fostering a balance between work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that meet each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment methodologies, progress, and the integral role of therapy in recovery.
• Conduct and lead educational in-services within the facility to enhance awareness about available therapy services and promote an understanding of therapeutic processes.
• Participate in Care Plan Meetings, contributing valuable insights about patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Build a solid partnership with the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring smooth transitions in care and enhancing the effectiveness of each treatment strategy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient demographic primarily includes individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. This position requires a sensitive approach to treating a diverse range of patients—including elderly clients in skilled nursing facilities and individuals engaged in outpatient therapy. The ultimate goal is to restore function and enhance overall well-being through a highly personalized approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Virginia.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is the minimum requirement, but candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• Current CPR certification must be maintained.
• Possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence, quality care, and ethical practice.
• Exhibit outstanding interpersonal communication skills conducive to engaging patients and their families effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation center is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• A proactive, creative thinker with a background in developing and implementing innovative therapy solutions.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Strong presentation and writing skills to facilitate effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by an attractive benefits package for full-time employees.
