Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop customized treatment plans based on physician referrals and individual patient needs.
• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effect positive changes in patient conditions, tracking their progress meticulously.
• Engage with patients through a variety of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, employing tailored modalities suitable for each case.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers to facilitate understanding of treatment objectives and techniques for at-home care.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care and to achieve optimum outcomes.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness, thereby enhancing relationships with local organizations and stakeholders.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to treat a broad range of patients, from young children requiring rehabilitation for developmental disorders to adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries or sports injuries. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to connect positively with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in computer systems and standard office software for documentation and reporting.
• A commitment to fostering therapeutic relationships to assist patients in achieving and exceeding their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome new graduates, candidates with previous clinical experience are preferred. Familiarity with specific rehabilitation tools and methodologies is advantageous, including aquatic therapy equipment, manual therapy techniques, and exercise prescription software.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
