Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions within an onsite hospital environment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise prescriptions, manual therapy, and the use of assistive devices to promote recovery and enhance mobility.
• Implement treatment modalities in accordance with established protocols, continuously monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members about rehabilitation processes, self-care practices, and the use of assistive devices to improve daily function.
• Document all treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and outcomes, contributing to a collaborative treatment environment.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy by attending workshops, professional conferences, and contributing to ongoing professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic and neurological conditions, as well as post-operative patients requiring rehabilitation services. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and digital documentation relevant to patient care.
• A proactive and flexible approach to patient care, adept at responding to the varying needs of patients and the healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience
