Work Environment

The position is onsite at our rehabilitation center in Manassas, Virginia, where our staff work collaboratively in a dynamic and supportive atmosphere. Operating Monday through Friday during business hours with flexible schedules (7 am - 3 pm or 8 am - 4 pm), our environment is designed to facilitate teamwork and include ongoing education and resources for our Physical Therapists. The workspace encourages a patient-centered approach, where every therapy session is tailored to meet individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans by collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary therapy team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff.
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapy methods, equipment usage, and strategies to enhance engagement in the rehabilitation process.
• Conduct training sessions and in-services at the facility to share insights on therapy services, helping to increase awareness and understanding among staff and caregivers.
• Engage actively in Care Plan Meetings to provide updates on patient progress, contributing to ongoing evaluations and adjustments of therapy strategies.
• Perform thorough daily documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and any adjustments made to care plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure continuity of care and to maximize therapeutic outcomes for patients.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in good standing to practice in Virginia.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current CPR certification.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and team members.
• A positive attitude and a genuine commitment to being an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or similar rehabilitative environment is preferred but not required.
• Proven background in developing creative and effective therapeutic interventions.
• Knowledge of specialized rehabilitation methodologies and patient engagement strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary that ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
