Work Environment

This position is centered in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Manassas, Virginia. Here, you will be surrounded by a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists, all dedicated to patient-centered care. The on-site setting allows for direct interactions with patients and fosters a holistic approach to rehabilitation. This role typically involves a Monday to Friday schedule, from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to understand individual needs and develop personalized care plans aimed at achieving therapeutic goals.
• Deliver physical therapy interventions in accordance with established treatment protocols, focusing on improving patient function and mobility.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities, to facilitate optimal healing and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, exercises, and the use of assistive devices to ensure continuity of care beyond therapy sessions.
• Prioritize your caseload, effectively manage daily staffing needs, and organize patient assignments to ensure quality care delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic approaches that support overall patient wellness and recovery.

As a Physical Therapist at Positive Visions, you will work with a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain, as well as pediatric patients with developmental challenges. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of your start date.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, newly graduated professionals who demonstrate passion and commitment to patient care are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
