Balanced Bodies Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. As a vital member of our onsite rehabilitation center, you will provide expert care in a dynamic environment focused on restoring patients' mobility and improving their quality of life. Work Environment

The work environment is collaborative and supportive, consisting of a close-knit team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our rehabilitation center is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology, creating an ideal setting for delivering high-quality therapy and care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and circumstances.
• Administer various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to effectively improve mobility and function.
• Manage a patient caseload, dedicating one hour per individual to ensure personalized attention and effective treatment.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to document patient interactions and track progress accurately.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, exercise techniques, and self-management strategies that promote long-term health and wellness.
• Monitor treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Maintain open communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, sports injuries, joint pain, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your goal will be to help these patients restore their full range of motion and enhance their functional capabilities in daily life. This includes developing tailored fitness programs to boost their overall health and instill confidence in their physical abilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Possess an unblemished professional record without any history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice.
• Exhibit exceptional skills in developing and implementing exercise protocols for varying patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is essential.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, specifically with adult and geriatric populations. Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic methods and a passion for continuous learning will be advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
