Work Environment

Our center is an onsite rehabilitation facility equipped with state-of-the-art resources that enable our team to provide diverse therapeutic interventions. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, promoting work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessment and treatment plans that align with each patient's unique recovery goals while employing a range of therapeutic modalities.
• Ensure a manageable patient load, allowing you to devote adequate time and attention to each individual's needs, thus fostering effective therapeutic relationships.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to enhance patients' functional mobility by integrating evidence-based practices into treatment.
• Develop comprehensive care plans and implement cost-effective, non-surgical treatment options to optimize patients' mobility while minimizing medication reliance.
• Tailor fitness and wellness programs to meet individual patient requirements, enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols based on effective outcomes and feedback.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services provided, ensuring compliance with facility policies and promoting continuity of care.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive mental attitude towards recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and conditions. Patients range from athletes looking to return to competition, to those undergoing rehabilitation from surgeries such as joint replacements or spinal surgeries. Our diverse clientele demands a holistic approach that takes into account their personal goals, lifestyle, and overall health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with a preference for candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with a clear record, devoid of any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skills in a range of manual therapy techniques and strong competency in devising effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software such as Web PT for effective patient documentation, ensuring seamless communication within the healthcare team.
• Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy methods backed by research and committed to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with familiarity in sports medicine protocols and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated success in implementing innovative treatment strategies that foster patient engagement and recovery.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
