Spine and Joint Rehab Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Manassas Park, Virginia. In this pivotal role, you will work directly with patients, guiding them through their rehabilitation journeys, helping to restore their mobility and improve their overall quality of life. Located in Manassas Park, Virginia, Spine and Joint Rehab Center is a state-of-the-art outpatient physical therapy facility, designed specifically for orthopedic rehabilitation. Our practice is proudly owned by physical therapists who understand the evolving needs of our patients. Our experienced team comprises two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to providing individualized and high-quality patient care. We predominantly serve individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive, seamless care.

Work Environment

The work setting is onsite, based within our modern, 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility. Our clinic is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology and a wide range of therapeutic equipment, fostering an environment that supports innovative treatment practices and promotes patient comfort. We operate Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured schedule that facilitates work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address patients' goals and rehabilitation needs, effectively creating tailored care plans.
• Manage a patient caseload, typically serving one individual per hour, ensuring that each treatment session is personalized and focused on achieving optimal outcomes.
• Employ a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Develop and implement comprehensive fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's specific recovery goals.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation process to foster a proactive approach to their health and wellness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Thoroughly document all patient care services administered and evaluate treatment outcomes by monitoring patients' progress closely.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies to enhance health and prevent further injuries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters primarily to individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, encompassing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with diverse populations, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, adults undergoing post-surgical rehabilitation, and seniors focusing on mobility and balance improvements. Your expertise will significantly impact their recovery outcomes and overall functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A strong professional record, free from any disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of exercise physiology.
• Experience in developing and executing rehabilitation protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to create rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• A commitment to staying current with industry advancements and continuing education in the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
