Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time at Gentle Care Rehabilitation Center

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Gentle Care Physical Therapy Services in Manassas, Virginia. This is a full-time, onsite position based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center. The ideal candidate will possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and at least two years of professional experience, showcasing a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Manassas, VA, our Rehabilitation Center is equipped with modern rehabilitation technologies. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexible shift options between 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, enabling staff to maintain a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients' physical conditions and developing tailored treatment plans based on physicians' referrals.
• Implementing effective therapeutic interventions and continually assessing their impact on patient recovery.
• Administering diverse treatment modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training.
• Ensuring exceptional customer service by establishing strong rapport with patients and their families.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
• Educating patients and caregivers on home exercises and lifestyle modifications.
• Actively participating in staff training and professional development sessions to stay current with industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on orthopedic patients, encompassing a range of conditions including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, with a strong foundation in orthopedic therapy.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on patient education and support.
• Competency in documentation and familiarity with relevant healthcare software systems.
• An empathetic approach that enables you to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

While the aforementioned qualifications are essential, experience in specialized treatment areas such as sports medicine, manual therapy, or pediatric therapy is considered a valuable asset. Compensation and Benefits
