Work Environment

Located in a child-friendly outpatient office in Manassas, Virginia, our facility fosters a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. We operate on a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 3 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life structure. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth comprehensive evaluations of physical therapy needs for pediatric patients to identify impairments and functional limitations.
• Collaborate with families to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the specific goals and needs of each child.
• Regularly monitor and assess clinical progress by documenting changes and adjusting treatments accordingly to meet patient goals and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Utilize the company's electronic record system to complete necessary documentation promptly, including SOAP notes, progress reports, and care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, recovery timelines, and strategies to overcome challenges throughout the treatment process.
• Meet and exceed performance metrics to contribute towards organizational goals and enhance the overall patient experience.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration within the center, ensuring that clients receiving multiple services benefit from cohesive care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on children from various backgrounds, ages, and diagnoses. This role requires a keen understanding of the diverse challenges faced by pediatric patients, including developmental delays, orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia is essential.
• Willingness to provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments in both in-person and telehealth formats as appropriate for patient needs.
• A genuine passion for working with children and an understanding of the diverse factors influencing their rehabilitation journey.
• Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment combined with a collaborative spirit and strong customer service orientation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with children in a clinical or therapeutic setting is highly preferred.

• Experience in documentation and workflow optimization using electronic health records.

Compensation and Benefits
