Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our outpatient facility in Centreville, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients who are recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or conditions, including identifying functional limitations and establishing baseline assessments.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on data-driven assessments to ensure the achievement of therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to update and coordinate patient care plans effectively.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, effective home exercise programs, and rehabilitation strategies, fostering independence throughout the recovery process.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in professional development by attending workshops, pursuing continuing education opportunities, and remaining current with industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve range from children to seniors, each facing unique challenges associated with orthopedic conditions such as joint replacements, fractures, strains, and sprains. Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy is required.

• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
