Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in our outpatient office located in the vibrant community of Centreville, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical status and functional abilities of patients referred for rehabilitation.
• Create and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, adhering to physician recommendations and patient-specific goals.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and personalized modalities, to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment protocols, offering invaluable advice on pain management and mobility enhancement.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Exemplify excellent customer service that fosters trust, ensuring every patient feels valued and understood during their therapy journey.
• Contribute to the overall success of the clinic by meeting performance metrics and maintaining high patient utilization rates.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on orthopedic patients; however, you will also have the opportunity to work with individuals in various settings, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine rehabilitation. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges, providing you the opportunity to apply your expertise and creativity to redefine their recovery experience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years' clinical experience in a relevant setting, specializing in outpatient orthopedic therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• A commitment to building meaningful relationships with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Empathy and a strong desire to connect positively with others in the community.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in diverse therapeutic settings, particularly with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice tools and methodologies to inform treatment decisions.
• Proven ability to set and achieve performance benchmarks that positively affect patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
