This position is based onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility in Centreville, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and medical histories to establish individualized treatment goals.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to address the unique needs of each patient.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to enhance patients' recovery and functional movement.
• Monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure satisfying rehabilitation experiences.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness strategies, and self-management techniques during and after the treatment process.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and progress accurately and in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, such as WebPT.
• Maintain a patient care schedule, typically handling one patient per hour to ensure attentive and focused treatment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and collaboratively develop optimal care strategies.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, creating a positive environment conducive to healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your commitment to understanding each patient's background and individual challenges will be essential in forming strong therapeutic relationships and facilitating successful rehabilitation outcomes. The diverse patient population ensures you'll engage with individuals at varying levels of physical ability and recovery stages, making your contributions vital to their healing process.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist, with no disciplinary actions on your record.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and proven ability to develop personalized exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to document patient care and progress.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly within orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality patient care and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Experience in designing and implementing patient-centered fitness and wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits
