Superior Core Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our exceptional team in Manassas, Virginia. Work Environment

You will work onsite in our advanced outpatient office in Manassas, Virginia, which is dedicated to sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. The facility spans over 5,000 square feet and is equipped with modern therapy equipment and rehabilitation tools. You will be collaborating closely with a small team comprising two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address patients' rehabilitation objectives, collaboratively developing tailored treatment strategies that meet their unique needs.
• Manage a focused caseload of patients, conducting one-on-one sessions to ensure undivided attention and quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to deliver personalized physical therapy interventions aimed at restoring mobility and enhancing function.
• Design and execute comprehensive care plans that incorporate various modalities, exercises, and therapies to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Conduct detailed evaluations of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect improvements or setbacks.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and outcomes through our EMR system, WebPT.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their therapy journey, empowering them to achieve and maintain their functional goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and rehabilitation.
• Organize and lead group fitness and wellness programs that focus on injury prevention and health promotion.
• Encourage patients to adopt lifestyles that enhance their physical health, focusing on strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other mobility impairments. Our patients, who are mainly covered by private insurance, vary in age and activity level, allowing for an enriching experience where you can utilize your skills in a diverse setting.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with a clean professional record free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create and implement effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing individualized treatment plans that lead to improved patient outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and best practices for patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
