Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs, and developing comprehensive treatment plans in accordance with physician recommendations.
• Implementing personalized treatment programs utilizing evidence-based techniques and methodologies, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans in response to their evolving needs and recovery goals.
• Providing education, guidance, and support to patients and their caregivers regarding treatment protocols and home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to achieve synergy in patient care and maximize therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of patient care, treatment progress, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Meeting productivity metrics and business objectives while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients with orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain disorders. Your role will be crucial in facilitating a continuum of care from the initial consultation through discharge, ensuring that patients receive consistent and effective therapy to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (APTA or CAPTE-approved).
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in documentation software and computer applications.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will bring a strong desire to connect with patients, paired with experience in orthopedic rehabilitation. Familiarity with treatment strategies targeting orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
