Position Overview

Flex Staff Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation center in Centreville, Virginia. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the recovery journey of patients with various functional limitations and disabilities. Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Centreville, Virginia, where a multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to provide top-tier rehabilitation services. You will enjoy a structured 40-hour work week, with some flexibility required, including periodic weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be tasked with carrying out a variety of essential duties aimed at delivering holistic patient care, including:

• Conducting comprehensive examinations and evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and limitations.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Implementing and adjusting treatment protocols based on patient progress, maintaining high standards of documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
• Providing education to patients and their families about treatment procedures and forecasted outcomes to promote engagement in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize the patient's continuum of care, including discussing changes in treatment programs as needed.
• Engaging in community outreach initiatives and participating in the development of new programs aimed at enriching patient care services.
• Supervising support staff, ensuring effective team collaboration, and managing departmental resources judiciously.
• Actively participating in staff meetings, workshops, and continuous education to enhance clinical skills and drive exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure for Physical Therapy in Virginia, evidencing your qualifications to practice.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of physical therapy practices and patient management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.
