Work Environment

This position is based in our rehabilitation facility nestled in the heart of Manassas, Virginia. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology designed to facilitate effective patient care. As a Physical Therapist at Guided Grace Therapy Center, you will work onsite within a supportive multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, ensuring a cohesive approach to each patient's rehabilitation journey. The work schedule includes weekdays with the expectation of rotating shifts on weekends to accommodate our diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical limitations and devise personalized treatment plans based on physician's orders.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that use evidence-based practices aimed at improving patients' physical function and mobility.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient assessments, treatment progress, and status, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making necessary adjustments to interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration, interacting with a range of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes for patients.
• Provide guidance and support in optimizing departmental productivity and contributing to a positive workplace culture focused on professional development and teamwork.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied patient population, including those recovering from surgery, sustaining injuries, or dealing with chronic illnesses. Our comprehensive approach ensures each treatment plan reflects the ages, conditions, and specific needs of each patient, enabling customized care that addresses both physical and emotional rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills to facilitate interaction with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic record-keeping systems and modern therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, providing a solid foundation for assessing and treating a range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
• Experience collaborating within a interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care and measure outcomes effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
