Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess the patient's level of function through various diagnostic tests, including muscle, nerve, and joint assessments.
• Providing hands-on treatment by administering manual therapeutic exercises and instructing patients in self-managed exercises to promote independence.
• Overseeing and guiding Physical Therapy Assistants in executing treatment plans, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
• Adapting rehabilitation strategies based on continuous assessments of patient progress and responses to various therapy modalities.
• Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and adjust care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers and case managers.
• Documenting clinical notes and patient progress accurately, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
• Assessing home environments and recommending modifications to enhance accessibility and independence for clients.
• Educating patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and strategies for effective management of their conditions.
• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and proposing innovative ideas for enhancing clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Physiolife Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain conditions, and patients requiring rehabilitation after injury or illness. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting.
• Active physical therapy licensure in the state of Virginia, in good standing.
• CPR certification and up-to-date knowledge of best practices in physical therapy.
• A strong commitment to enhancing patient care through a holistic approach.
