Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' needs, reviewing comprehensive medical histories and performing specialized assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal setting.
• Implement personalized treatment protocols based on assessment data, adapting methodologies to support each patient's recovery and overall health progress.
• Engage in consultations with interdisciplinary team members as necessary, documenting changes in patients' conditions and recommending adjustments to care plans or additional medical consultations.
• Manage discharge planning, ensuring proper follow-up care and maintaining accurate and timely documentation that reflects the patient's course of treatment and outcomes.
• Utilize strong time management skills to maintain productivity, staying punctual for all appointments and meetings while actively participating in community outreach and hospital marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to departmental goals, actively engaging in compliance with regulatory standards and quality improvement efforts within the clinic.
• Seek out and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance personal skills and contribute to the growth of the organization, including mentoring and educating potential clinical interns.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
