Flexibility First Physical Therapy is looking for a passionate and experienced Full-Time Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our team in Manassas, Virginia. At Flexibility First Physical Therapy, we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services within a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. Our facility spans 5000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge sports medicine technology that enables us to provide high-quality care. Our friendly and skilled team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to ensuring a welcoming environment for recovery and health promotion.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our comprehensive rehabilitation center in Manassas, Virginia. The work schedule is structured to provide a balance between professional duties and personal life, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions thoroughly to establish and prioritize treatment goals tailored to individual needs.
• Administer effective treatments and therapies, maintaining a manageable patient load of one patient per hour to ensure focused attention and quality care.
• Develop and implement innovative, evidence-based treatment plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that empower patients to achieve optimal health and fitness levels.
• Provide manual therapy interventions and exercise regimen design aimed at improving patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Minimize the patient's dependency on medication by offering alternative non-surgical options and strategies for pain management.
• Monitor patient progress continuously, evaluating outcomes, documenting services rendered, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Engage in active communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and care continuity.
• Encourage and motivate patients, fostering a positive recovery environment that promotes healing and strengthens commitment to their rehabilitation.
• Contribute to the overall management of the clinic, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals with private medical insurance, seeking rehabilitation services often stemming from orthopedic surgeries or sports injuries. You will work closely with diverse patients, ranging from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to individuals seeking post-operative care. Your role in tailoring treatment plans and fitness programs will significantly enhance their recovery experience and ensure the delivery of optimal care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist, without any disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, essential for the effective treatment of various conditions.
• Skilled in designing and executing personalized exercise programs that meet individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for efficient documentation and management of patient information.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Hands-on experience in implementing non-invasive rehabilitation techniques and therapies that promote patient recovery.

Compensation and Benefits
