Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Consulting with patients to conduct thorough assessments of their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and creating tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Teaching patients therapeutic exercise techniques that they can perform to facilitate recovery and build strength.
• Applying modalities such as stimulation or massage to promote healing and alleviate discomfort.
• Assisting patients in utilizing mobility aids, including wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring safety and independence.
• Maintaining comprehensive patient records, tracking their goals, progress, and modifications in treatment plans.
• Advising patients and their families about home treatment options and rehabilitation exercises to support ongoing recovery efforts.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.

• Proficient in word processing and computer applications relevant to record-keeping.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.

Preferred Experience

While we are open to new graduates, a minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy is preferred. Experience in a rehabilitation center setting will be an advantage, as it will contribute to a smoother transition into our team-focused culture.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
