Healing Touch Physical Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our rehabilitation center, where a collaborative and supportive environment thrives. The center features modern therapy equipment and spacious treatment areas designed to facilitate optimal patient interactions. In your role, you will join a close-knit team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to maximizing patient outcomes. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to recognize and meet the objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring quality and personalized care for every client.
• Administer effective and budget-conscious therapies designed to enhance the patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall functionality.
• Provide alternatives to surgery by proposing non-surgical treatment options, thereby minimizing reliance on medication.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques, tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs, focusing on the unique goals of each patient during their rehabilitation.
• Deliver individualized care that is grounded in evidence-based practices to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Motivate and support patients throughout the rehabilitation process, empowering them to achieve personal rehabilitation milestones.
• Foster healthy lifestyle habits by enhancing clients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through both education and practice.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and allied health providers to optimize patient care strategies.
• Maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding evaluations and progress.
• Document all services provided accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Healing Touch Physical Therapy, we serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, chronic pain, and other mobility impairments. By adopting a holistic approach, we focus not only on physical recovery but also on empowering our patients emotionally and psychologically during their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design practical exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Preferably, have prior experience within orthopedic outpatient settings to better understand the needs of our patient demographics.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment that emphasizes patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
