Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, disabilities, and treatment requirements.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with the physician's plan of care and are tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Utilize a wide array of therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery and restore function.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic care, employing evidence-based methods that engage patients and stimulate progress.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, participating in case discussions and progress assessments.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Document patient progress and treatment effectiveness, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and insurance requirements.
• Meet established utilization goals and assist in achieving business objectives through excellent customer service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse client base, treating patients with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, pediatric developmental issues, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, providing compassionate patient interaction, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in word processing and other computer skills required for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome new graduates, prior experience in physical therapy, particularly within similar specialties (orthopedic, pediatric, sports medicine, or neurologic), is highly desirable. A demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients and their families will be key to success in this role, as will a proactive mindset geared toward continuous improvement and professional development.

Compensation and Benefits
