Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Manassas, Virginia. Our team collaborates in a professional setting equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and resources. The position comes with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Evaluate patients through comprehensive assessments, documenting their medical histories and current conditions to inform effective treatment protocols.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols based on ongoing evaluations and patient progress while staying informed about advancements in orthopedic care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, including detailed initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, and progress summaries, ensuring compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.
• Conduct effective discharge planning and follow-up care to support long-term patient success.
• Communicate openly and respectfully with patients, their families, and third-party payors, fostering a positive relationship built on trust and clarity.
• Engage actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities as directed by the management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, accidents, or chronic pain management. Our clients seek your expertise to regain function, enhance mobility, and improve their overall physical well-being. Your therapeutic interventions will play a vital role in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and return to their daily activities with confidence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with modern physical therapy techniques will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
