Work Environment

This role is situated in a welcoming rehabilitation center located in Annandale, VA, an area known for its vibrant community and easy access to resources. As a member of our onsite team, you will work in a well-equipped facility that promotes a culture of wellness and patient-centered care. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their specific needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimes, stretching, hands-on therapy, and advanced equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Monitor patient progress by meticulously tracking treatments and responses, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, assistive devices, and strategies for enhancing self-care and mobility.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in physical therapy.
• Participate in a collaborative team approach, working alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will encompass a diverse demographic, ranging from children to seniors, who are dealing with various health challenges such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Your role will be critical in developing and implementing rehabilitation strategies that promote recovery and facilitate optimal functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy, indicating your eligibility to practice in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating your professional competency.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
• An eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits
