Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to understand their needs and establish effective, individualized treatment plans post-injury, surgery, or illness.
• Utilize a variety of modalities, including exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and assistive technologies to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Document treatments, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans based on evolving patient needs and therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, including the benefits of their treatment plans and how to use necessary assistive devices.
• Maintain ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, reviewing latest research in physical therapy, and engaging in professional networking.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses the multifaceted needs of our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy.

• Proficient in using computer systems for record-keeping and treatment documentation.
• A flexible mindset, capable of adapting to the varying needs of patients and day-to-day challenges of a clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar role, demonstrated by a history of effectively developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation or home care settings is an advantage.
• Previous mentorship or training experience with new graduates is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
