Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to create individualized treatment plans that meet specific therapy goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to address each patient's unique needs.
• Manage a balanced caseload to ensure comprehensive attention is given to each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Monitor and document patients' progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Educate patients on effective strategies to manage their conditions and promote long-term wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Promote a proactive approach toward rehabilitation, emphasizing non-surgical methods and lifestyle modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse range of clients, from young athletes needing rehabilitation after sports injuries to older adults recovering from surgeries or managing chronic pain. Each patient receives personalized attention and care to ensure that their unique recovery challenges are addressed effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and clean Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient knowledge of current physical therapy methodologies and evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation and familiarity with a range of manual therapy techniques.
• Experience using EMR software, preferably WebPT, for comprehensive patient documentation and tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
