The full-time position will require you to work onsite in our outpatient office, where you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain movement and enhance their quality of life. Work Environment

The work setting at our Alexandria location is designed for optimal patient interaction, providing comfortable therapy rooms equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment. We operate Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing a structured schedule that fosters work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific recovery goals.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques based on established best practices and ongoing research to promote healing and mobility.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring that each patient receives the attention necessary to progress in their rehabilitation journeys.
• Monitor and document patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, facilitating accurate and efficient communication with other healthcare providers.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, integrating feedback and multidisciplinary insights to enhance the effectiveness of treatment plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing wellness.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation, fostering their motivation and commitment to treatment.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust plans as necessary, ensuring that care remains aligned with patient goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, and general mobility issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Must possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with a clean history free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to implement successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for effective clinical documentation and patient management.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques supported by current research and clinical guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in an outpatient or sports medicine environment.
• Experience creating and applying personalized fitness and wellness plans to accommodate various patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is between USD 80,000 and USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
