Our team consists of skilled professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.

Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite in our outpatient office setting, where you will engage directly with patients every day. The clinic operates from Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for work-life balance. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging both staff collaboration and patient comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess individual patient needs to create comprehensive and tailored treatment plans that address their specific recovery goals.
• Maintain a patient case load of one client per hour, allowing for thorough evaluation and treatment.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions that enhance mobility and reduce pain, while educating patients on non-surgical alternatives when applicable.
• Utilize a diverse array of therapeutic techniques and modalities to deliver optimal care.
• Conduct periodic evaluations to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
• Support patients in developing fitness and wellness plans that promote a healthier lifestyle and improve overall physical function.
• Enforce documentation protocols using EMR software like WebPT to maintain accurate patient records, progress notes, and treatment evaluations.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, including referring physicians and specialists, to foster an integrated approach to patient care.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, reinforcing their goals and celebrating their achievements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic predominantly includes individuals with private medical insurance, who seek comprehensive orthopedic care. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases, from athletes undergoing rehabilitation to seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries. Your role is crucial in helping patients regain mobility and achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with no prior board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques, exercise physiology, and rehabilitation practices.
• Exceptional skills in developing and implementing effective exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs.
• Comfortable and adept at using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based treatment models and methodologies related to physical therapy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building relationships with patients and healthcare team members.

Compensation and Benefits
