Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility, providing a dynamic environment that promotes interaction with patients and a chance to collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while supporting our patients in their recovery. The setting emphasizes non-hospital-based care, thus allowing the flexibility to tailor treatment without acute care constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific goals and needs.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure each patient receives adequate time and attention during their sessions.
• Apply evidence-based practices and utilize a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including orthopedic outpatient care methodologies.
• Promote non-invasive treatment options and emphasize the importance of fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's lifestyle.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Encourage a proactive approach in patients toward their recovery journey, fostering motivation and engagement.
• Adhere to all documentation standards using effective electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for precise tracking and reporting.
• Participate in continuous professional development and education to stay current with advances in physical therapy techniques and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist in our clinic, you will primarily serve an outpatient population, which includes a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic issues, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will be critical in supporting these patients in regaining their mobility and achieving their functional goals, enhancing their daily lives and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with an exemplary record, free from sanctions or legislative proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and the development of rehabilitation programs.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, with specific experience in Web PT or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices supported by ongoing research.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred, along with prior experience in outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation techniques specifically designed for enhancing strength, flexibility, and overall patient health.
• An understanding of how to create patient-centered fitness and wellness plans that align with their individual recovery needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
