Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Alexandria, VA. Our clinic's modern design promotes a welcoming atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and supported. You will work a standard schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life commitment. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy services tailored to each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement comprehensive care plans, and utilize evidence-based interventions to improve motion and mobility.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring sufficient time is allocated for effective treatment and patient interaction.
• Employ a variety of manual therapy modalities, therapeutic exercises, and patient education strategies to support recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, particularly utilizing WebPT for accuracy and improved services.
• Conduct regular evaluations of treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Foster a supportive and motivational environment, encouraging patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our facility to provide integrated care solutions, enhancing overall patient outcomes.
• Promote wellness and injury prevention strategies, educating patients on maintaining an active lifestyle beyond therapy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia is mandatory.
• Exceptional knowledge of manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to utilize EMR effectively, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in creating and implementing customized exercise and wellness programs.
• Experience collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life PT offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
