Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, creating individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, while ensuring compliance with the physician's plan of care.
• Maintain strong communication with patients and their caretakers, providing education on procedures, exercises, and techniques to facilitate recovery and empower patient independence.
• Document and monitor patient progress meticulously in our electronic health record system, ensuring that treatment remains aligned with healthcare goals.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient care strategies, share insights, and maximize treatment outcomes.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and contribute to a positive clinic environment that supports patient engagement and satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed established utilization goals and business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with orthopedic patients, however, they will also have the opportunity to treat a range of populations including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine clients. Your role will be essential in guiding patients through various stages of recovery—whether recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, or chronic pain management—fostering meaningful connections that empower patients to achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

Your qualifications for the role will include:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy and successful completion of a Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting, preferably focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse patient demographics.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.

Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have experience primarily in orthopedic treatment modalities, with a focus on evidence-based practices. A background in managing complex cases involving multi-disciplinary teams will be advantageous. Proficiency in specialized therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy or aquatic therapy will also set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
