As a full-time PT, you will play a critical role in delivering top-notch rehabilitation services within our onsite facility. Work Environment

The selected Physical Therapist will work exclusively onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in Fairfax. The working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients by examining their medical history, conducting physical assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans to address functional limitations and disabilities.
• Implement optimized treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, adapting as necessary to changes in the patient's condition or healthcare landscape.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge planning in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring clarity and precision in all records.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care, making timely recommendations for adjustments in therapeutic techniques and interventions.
• Engage in continuous education initiatives, embracing new methodologies and approaches to improve the effectiveness of therapies and benefit patient outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings and facility initiatives to identify barriers to access and improve the quality of services offered.
• Complete required corporate and clinical services training, remaining current with changes in regulations and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with outpatient orthopedic patients who require physical therapy services due to post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and other spinal or musculoskeletal complications. You will help patients regain strength, movement, and pain management skills, ultimately guiding them to return to their daily activities or athletic endeavors.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Must hold active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is essential for this position.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a wide range of patient demographics, including athletes and the elderly, is highly advantageous.
• Training or certification in alternative treatment methodologies (e.g., manual therapy or sports rehabilitation) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
