Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Fairfax facility, you will work in a collaborative, supportive environment that fosters professional growth and development. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians to create individualized treatment plans that align with their recovery goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapies and techniques to address a variety of conditions, ensuring measurable improvements in patients' physical capabilities.
• Engage with patients in a hands-on approach to deliver skilled therapeutic interventions, modifying treatment as necessary based on their progress.
• Consult and educate patients and their families about their conditions and host training sessions to enhance understanding of ongoing care.
• Document each patient's progress in compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies to ensure continuity of care.
• Utilize relevant clinical tools and methodologies that align with our mission, such as standardized assessments and personalized therapy approaches.
• Contribute to team meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to develop and enhance treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse patient population, providing care across multiple specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals at various stages of recovery, from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management, ensuring each patient receives tailored support to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in computer-based documentation systems and word processing.
• Ability to foster engaging relationships with patients to motivate them toward achieving their functional goals.
• A proactive attitude towards building community relationships and positively impacting lives.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in treating a broad range of conditions and knowledge of community resources to aid in patient recovery can enhance your application. Compensation and Benefits
