Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Fairfax, Virginia, our onsite rehabilitation facility is equipped with advanced tools and resources that empower our therapists to deliver effective treatments. Your work schedule will typically be from Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing you to maintain a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

In the role of Physical Therapist at Vitality Restore, you will:

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered therapy by managing the entire therapeutic process for your assigned patients, in close cooperation with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop and implement personalized care plans aimed at achieving patient goals and enhancing their overall therapeutic experience.
• Deliver or oversee the majority of physical therapy interventions, maintaining compliance with best practices and ethical standards.
• Utilize established guidelines to perform evaluations and administer treatment interventions that align with each patient's individual needs.
• Assess and document patients' therapeutic/rehabilitative status and contribute to their overall care plan development.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care at patients' homes when necessary, helping them regain function and promoting their well-being.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective therapeutic exercises, the use of adaptive equipment, and ongoing self-care strategies.
• Proactively manage your caseload, prioritize patient needs, and coordinate daily staffing assignments to ensure seamless patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic is diverse, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to those with chronic pain or mobility issues. You will work closely with both adult and pediatric patients, developing treatment plans that not only address their immediate physical therapy needs but also support long-term recovery and mobility goals. Your efforts will significantly contribute to their life quality and recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of your start date.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy is required, candidates with a track record of delivering patient-centered care and working collaboratively in a team environment will be prioritized. Experience in diverse patient treatment areas, including pain management and post-operative rehabilitation, will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits
