Work Environment

As an onsite provider, your work will primarily take place in a home care setting, engaging with patients in their residences to offer personalized physical therapy. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to deliver comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Powerback Physical Therapy Clinic, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients, identifying functional limitations and disabilities to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality hands-on therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to treat orthopedic conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, and sports injuries.
• Provide patient education for effective self-management and injury prevention strategies.
• Document all treatment sessions accurately, including patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the interdisciplinary treatment team regarding patient care and progress.
• Participate in community outreach programs, marketing initiatives, and leadership functions that promote our clinic's services and mission.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, contributing to their professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic concerns, including post-operative rehabilitation and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will serve a diverse patient demographic, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of each individual. This role is particularly impactful as you not only aid in the physical rehabilitation of patients but also support them in navigating the psychological aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; however, candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy are strongly preferred.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a home care setting or with rehabilitation of orthopedic patients is advantageous. Familiarity with leading treatment modalities, assessment tools, and rehabilitation methodologies will enhance your effectiveness in this vital role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
