Work Environment

This position is located in Arlington, Virginia, where you will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team in a unique home care environment. The team is patient-oriented, working primarily on-site to offer direct therapy services in patients' residences. You will engage with patients in their own environments, allowing for a personalized approach that ensures comfort and convenience. Our typical working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, aligning with our commitment to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments, integrating evidence-based practices significant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Collaborating with the supervising Physical Therapist and multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Conducting regular evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed for maximum effectiveness.
• Providing education for patients and their families on therapy protocols and the rehabilitation process, empowering them to take an active role in recovery.
• Participating in Care Plan Meetings and offering insights about patient progress and response to treatments.
• Ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and promptly in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Thrive Medi Flex Ortho, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries. This includes individuals with joint replacements, fractures, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will aid diverse populations, from young athletes to seniors, emphasizing individualized care that respects the unique circumstances and goals of each patient.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy (PT) license in good standing in the state of Virginia.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to effectively travel to patient homes.
• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage with patients and their families effectively.
• A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.

Preferred Experience

While previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred, candidates with a strong grasp of orthopedic rehabilitation and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations related to therapy services is highly regarded, as well as proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
