Work Environment

This onsite position is set in the comforting environment of our patients' homes, enabling you to offer tailored and compassionate care where they feel most comfortable. The work specifics are from Monday to Friday, with each shift totaling 40 hours, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients referred by physicians through comprehensive evaluations to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that facilitate rehabilitation and promote overall physical well-being.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic care, utilizing proven techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment plans, procedures, and preventive measures, ensuring complete understanding and engagement in the recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient rehabilitation strategies based on the latest research and best practices.
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with the physician's plan of care.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and maintain strong rapport with patients and their families.
• Meet productivity goals and contribute to the business objectives of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. This variety allows for a rich and fulfilling work experience, where you will employ specialized techniques tailored to each patient's unique situation. Your role will involve profound interactions with patients, helping them harness the strength to overcome challenges associated with their physical conditions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT).
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, for maintaining patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings, with direct application of therapeutic interventions in patients' homes.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice in various specialties to enhance patient care.
• Ability to foster strong therapeutic relationships, contributing to a supportive rehabilitation environment that motivates patients.

Compensation and Benefits

At Avecina Physical Therapy, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 - 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
