Work Environment

This physical therapist position is primarily onsite, and you will provide care within patients' homes, which allows for a unique and effective therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and functional independence, drawing from specialties such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Actively engage with patients and their families, providing education on home exercises and rehabilitation strategies to facilitate ongoing progress.
• Set and meet minimum utilization goals and contribute to achieving business objectives while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
• Document patient progress accurately and comprehensively in accordance with industry standards and Core Impact policies.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide integrated care practices that align with physician directives.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, ensuring that each interaction is positive and constructive.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist in this role will work with a diverse range of patients across various age groups and medical backgrounds. Our approach includes providing targeted therapies for orthopedic conditions, pediatric developmental issues, neurological complications, and sports-related injuries. By focusing on individualized treatment plans, you will help patients achieve recovery milestones and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills critical for patient education and collaboration with caregivers.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and standard office software.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards their challenges.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical experience in home healthcare or outpatient settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
