Licensed Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehabilitation Specialist

Position Overview

Thrive Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and possess a deep understanding of manual therapy practices and rehabilitation protocols.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our Gainesville rehabilitation facility, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The center features modern amenities, including private treatment rooms, a fully equipped gym, and advanced rehabilitation equipment. Our therapy sessions are conducted during the weekdays, ensuring a structured and focused environment free from weekend distractions. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to establish baseline measurements and identify rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans that utilize a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
• Administer treatment sessions, maintaining a patient caseload of 1-2 patients per hour to ensure personalized attention and optimal recovery outcomes.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, utilizing our electronic medical record system (predominantly WebPT) to maintain accurate records and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.
• Provide education to patients and their families about treatment plans, expected outcomes, and ongoing self-care strategies to foster independence in their recovery.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to integrate best practices and share insights regarding patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping individuals restore their mobility and functionality, enhancing their quality of life. Your engagement with each patient will help them navigate their treatment journey while promoting autonomy and resilience through tailored interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Virginia Physical Therapist license is required to practice within the state.
• A strong background and proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Experience with the WebPT electronic medical records system is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation protocols and a commitment to continuing education in the field.

Compensation and Benefits

Thrive Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
