Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy care tailored to meet each patient's unique goals, preferences, and needs.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, ensuring ample time is devoted to each individual for personalized attention and support.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to establish comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various evidence-based interventions.
• Implement cost-effective strategies to enhance patients' motion, mobility, and overall physical function, with a particular emphasis on non-surgical solutions to reduce reliance on medication.
• Engage in continuous evaluation of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment protocols using EMR systems, particularly Web PT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless integration of care and comprehensive support for each patient.
• Encourage and motivate patients, fostering a positive and empowering treatment atmosphere.
• Develop fitness and wellness programs that align with patient needs and abilities to promote long-term health.
• Educate patients and their families about healthy lifestyle choices, including exercises aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on patients in an outpatient clinic setting, which includes athletes recovering from injuries, individuals with chronic pain, and those seeking rehabilitation after surgery. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, tailoring your approach to each patient's lifestyle, functional level, and rehabilitation goals to help them achieve optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Mastery of various manual therapy techniques and the ability to create effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, especially Web PT, for detailed and accurate documentation.
• Current knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques supported by evidence-based research to inform clinical practice.
• A passion for patient care and a commitment to professional development through continuous education.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in implementing rehabilitation programs that effectively reduce pain and restore function.
• Experience with diverse patient populations, including sports rehabilitation and geriatric care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
